Our old one-eyed pal Chewie was returned to the shelter for being “aggressive towards people.” 😧 We volunteers really do not understand this because we have not had bad experiences with him. He DOES play rough- could his previous people have misunderstood his intentions? Could they be neglecting the fact that he might get startled if people approach quickly from his right side (where he has no eye)? We don’t know; regardless, we’re so sad to see beautiful 2-year old Chewie back at the shelter.
