Jan 26, 2025 · Wind was coming from the Southeast light during the am hours till noon. Then picked up a bit after. I made many drift on the east side of the lake at its deepest near the river channel and only caught four hybrid. Then my experiences told me to go look at the wind blown areas. Sure enough hybrids were stacked up on the wind blown side of the lake.

Dec 22, 2024 · East Texas I only fish with Lew's reels and they all have this type of adjustment. Set the reel as you do all your others and then dial in the left side to help with drag as you cast lighter baits, against wind, etc. Mine are all set on 5 to 8 as needed.
