Based on the world map and landmarks, it is assumed the location of the fighting is set near the French hexagonal forts at Verdun, then later taking place in No man's land near the British front.

I have recently revisited Battlefield 1 in campaign mode, and I have noticed that 2 year old bug (or more?) still is not fixed. The essential binoculars function (Q key on PC) does not work - it works at the start of the first Zara story and then binoculars are lost, which increases difficulty of the stealth approach.

Oct 5, 2021 · Battlefield 1 has by far the best campaign of the 3, it has very well designed WW1 atmosphere and nice little stories. But it's kinda short. Battlefield 4 felt a bit longer but is more a squad based mission structure, and not nearly as well orchestrated. Obviously no big war feeling, only just a hallway shooter with dumb AI squad.

I've played Battlefield 1 on my console for couple of days, completed tank and aircraft campaign without any problems. Then I tried to play another one, in every campaign first cutscene is showing just fine, after the cutscene ends there's a black screen with loading icon (it's not like freeze, it's loading) but it takes forever to load!

May 10, 2020 · Thing is bf campaigns have never really been that great I mean bf4s campaign was kinda garbage I didn’t really mind bf3 as it was by far the best of the modern battlefield campaigns but its really personal preference. Tldr: bf1 has a better campaign than bfV

Battlefield 1 is no where near that level of quality of story, not saying their story is garbage but the campaign is pretty casual. Battlefield is a competitive game, not a story-based game. If your buying for the story wait for a sale, it'll be $40 about a month after release.

Battlefield 1 keeps crashing, I am not sure if it my computer, the download or another issue, I cannot find any recent posts on this. Crashes before multiplayer and about about 20 min into campaign as beginning of a chapter. Windows 10 Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7500u CPU @ 2.70 GHz 2.90 GHz 16.0 GB ...
