The libel suit, which seeks at least $10 billion in damages, was filed the same day the Justice Department asked a judge to unseal grand jury transcripts tied to Jeffrey Epstein's case.

Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche filed motions in a separate federal court urging them to unseal the Epstein transcripts.

Should the case proceed, Trump may be required to testify under oath about his relationship to Jeffrey Epstein.
