With the first two rounds of the NCAA wrestling championships completed, the No. 1 Penn State Nittany Lions had seven wrestlers advance to the semifinal round on Friday night at 7 p.m. Each wrestler also earned All-American honors with their advancement to the semifinal round.

Another title would be Penn State’s fourth straight and 12th in the past 14 tournaments. And while Penn State has an opportunity to crown at least five — if not more — individual champions, it also has a shot to become the first team since 2001 to place 10 All-Americans, something that’s been done once since the tournament’s inception in 1928.
