Dallas Cowboys running back Phil Mafah knew he was going to get some snaps against the Los Angeles Rams, and the rookie did in the 31-21 loss at SoFi Stadium. While Deuce Vaughn started, Mafah was quickly injected into the game for what was his first taste of real NFL action.

Booker is the first first-round pick to miss a preseason opener since running back Ezekiel Elliott sat against the Rams in 2016.
