Newcastle striker Alexander Isak has been urged to clarify the speculation over his future after being heavily linked with a move to Liverpool.

Liverpool's pursuit of Alexander Isak could be put on hold after Newcastle United had an offer of £70m rejected for RB Leipzig forward Benjamin Sesko. The Magpies are eyeing a move for the 22-year-old Slovenian international after Isak made it clear last month that he wanted to leave St James' Park to join Liverpool.

The 25-year-old is said to be pushing for a move away from the north east, with Liverpool seeing a £110million bid for the Sweden international rejected.
