Fleetwood nearly broke his winless drought at two separate events earlier this year, but lost excruciatingly at the Travelers Championship and FedEx St. Jude Championship. The Travelers’s final round on CBS averaged 3.519 million and the FedEx St. Jude on NBC had 3.662 million. They were the third- and fifth most-watched final rounds of the season.

Tommy Fleetwood won the final event of the FedEx Cup playoffs to collect his first PGA Tour victory and the $10 million first-place prize.

It's the highest-rated non-major event of the season and a fitting end to what has been a year worth celebrating for the PGA Tour in terms of TV ratings. A few weeks ago, CBS reported 2025 was its most-watched golf season in seven years, while all three events in the FedEx Cup Playoffs on NBC saw a significant increase in viewership.
