Hundreds of people were forced from their homes the RM of Kelsey by an out-of-control wildfire. According to the province, that blaze reached over 20,000 hectares in size.

The fire, which came close to consuming a new building, was spotted by birdwatchers on a trail at the sprawling marsh.
