A 79-year-old was killed and a 72-year-old man was critically injured in a double shooting inside a Baltimore senior living apartment complex on Thursday, according to police.

A 65-year-old man is charged with murder after Baltimore Police say he shot two of his neighbors at the Pleasant View Gardens senior living community. Norman Ezekiel Waker, a resident of the senior living complex at 110 North Central Ave.

Waker was charged with fatally shooting Clyde Barnes, 79, and injuring another senior living resident. The second victim, a 72-year-old male, was quickly transported to a local hospital and is currently in critical condition.
