Broncos linebacker Alex Singleton is set to miss some time after an injury in Monday's training camp practice.

Broncos coach Sean Payton said Tuesday that Singleton (thumb) underwent surgery and is expected to miss roughly one week, Chris Tomasson of The Denver Gazette reports.

Singleton suffered a broken thumb at Monday's practice but should return next week, Luca Evans of The Denver Post reports.

Head Coach Sean Payton said Singleton was expected to undergo surgery on Tuesday before returning to Denver on Wednesday.
