Trump, in a pre-recorded episode of New York Post’s podcast “Pod Force One” released Wednesday, said that he “was disappointed” in Musk. The president said he held “no hard feelings” against the Tesla CEO, adding that he “was really surprised” the billionaire had criticized his tax cut bill.
Musk earlier deleted a post in which he claimed without evidence that the government was concealing information about the president’s association with infamous pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
Elon Musk said on X in the early hours of Wednesday that he “regrets” some of the barbs he posted as he and President Donald Trump traded insults on social media and said they “went too far.”
