Following light acclimation days last Wednesday and Thursday, the Denver Broncos officially kicked off training camp with practices on Friday and Saturday -- without pads. The first four sessions were meaningful, but things will heat up when the pads come on Monday.
Evan Engram hypes up his new team in the Broncos with what appears to be a shot at his former squad in the Jaguars.

"Broncos LB Drew Sanders, an up-and-coming defender, suffered a tendon injury in his foot in practice that will keep him out an extended period of time, sources say post-MRI," Rapoport wrote on X. "Sanders is not expected back before the season begins and further testing will determine what's next."
Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton, pass rusher Nik Bonitto and defensive linemen Zach Allen and John Franklin-Myers are among the team's players scheduled to become unrestricted free agents in 2026. All four are worthy of contract extensions, but coach Sean Payton was unwilling to give much of an update on that topic.
Franklin-Myers deserves an extension. The Broncos re-signed nose tackle D.J. Jones in the offseason, and drafted Sai'vion Jones in the third round, the latter of whom gives the team a viable successor to Franklin-Myers if things don't work out after this season.
