Cleveland's recent 112-105 defeat at the hands of the Boston Celtics on Tuesday night could have given their general manager Mike Gansey some extra motivation to negotiate a trade to acquire a rangy two-way option that could compete against the likes of Boston's Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown in a postseason series.

Even though the Cavs aren’t approaching Thursday’s 3 p.m. deadline as a desperate team that needs to do something, they are looking at possible upgrades — provided the price is right.
