Travelers from more than 30 countries are now barred from entering the United States following a significant expansion of federal travel restrictions, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem confirmed Thursday.

However, audible laughter as well as Noem then continuing her FEMA comment showed the room received the "you kept the hurricanes away" remark as nothing more than an off-the-cuff joke.
