‘Over 30’ nations blocked: Noem reveals sweeping travel ban expansion
Travelers from more than 30 countries are now barred from entering the United States following a significant expansion of federal travel restrictions, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem confirmed Thursday.
U.S. ambassador to Israel and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee told Axios that Israel is "relatively calm," with the current ceasefire holding and rocket fire paused. The big picture: It's one of the most optimistic assessments from a U.
Noem truly said, "Sir, you made it through hurricane season without a hurricane. And so, FEMA, FEMA … you, even you kept the hurricanes away, so we appreciate that." However, audible laughter as well as Noem then continuing her FEMA comment showed the room received the "you kept the hurricanes away" remark as nothing more than an off-the-cuff joke.
