It's been a very tough week for hockey following the passing of 12-year-old Natalia Moore in Michigan, along with German National Team forward Tobias Eder yesterday and now, the sport has lost a beloved member of the media in Ottawa.

A terrible piece of news has just struck the hockey world and the National Hockey League community. TSN Ottawa radio host, and former NHLer, Shawn Simpson has passed away at the age of 56.
A Utah turnover while on the power play led to the Senators’ first goal of the game in the second period. Shane Pinto and Ridly Greig exploded on a two-on-1 as Utah’s Nick Schmaltz trailed while trying to get back. Greig one-timed Pinto’s pass past goalie Karel Vejmelka at 12:16 for the 1-0 advantage.
The Ottawa Charge got things going early in the game and were able to keep the Frost off the board the entire time to clinch the win.
Brianne Jenner scored her first PWHL goal less than four minutes into the game, Gwyneth Philips made 22 saves for her first career shutout and the Ottawa Charge beat the Minnesota Frost 1-0 to end a three-game losing streak.
