It's been a very tough week for hockey following the passing of 12-year-old Natalia Moore in Michigan, along with German National Team forward Tobias Eder yesterday and now, the sport has lost a beloved member of the media in Ottawa.

A terrible piece of news has just struck the hockey world and the National Hockey League community. TSN Ottawa radio host, and former NHLer, Shawn Simpson has passed away at the age of 56.

A Utah turnover while on the power play led to the Senators’ first goal of the game in the second period. Brianne Jenner scored her first PWHL goal less than four minutes into the game, Gwyneth Philips made 22 saves for her first career shutout and the Ottawa Charge beat the Minnesota Frost 1-0 to end a three-game losing streak.
