The New York Mets traded two minor league players to the Baltimore Orioles in exchange for left-handed relief pitcher Gregory Soto, the teams announced Friday.

The Mets have claimed right-handed pitcher Rico Garcia off waivers from the Yankees, the team announced on Monday. The Yankees designated Garcia for assignment last week. Garcia is out of options and will need to be added to the Mets’ active roster immediately.
