The first Icon-class ship, Icon of the Seas, will sail its first revenue voyage on Jan. 27. The Icon can carry 7,600 passengers at max capacity. Future ships will be a similar size.

For comparison, Star – like Icon – will have 20 decks and measure 1,196 feet long. Royal Caribbean's newest Oasis Class ship, Utopia of the Seas, has 18 decks and measures 1,188 feet.
