Cal Raleigh's historic 2025 season has seen him reach the 50-home run mark, the most in a season by a primary catcher, and become the first player in MLB history to hit at least 20 homers from both sides of the plate in the same season.

Seattle Mariners catcher Cal Raleigh made history on Sunday when he slugged his 48th and 49th home runs of the season. His 49th homer established a new single-season record for a catcher, breaking a tie with Kansas City Royals stalwart Salvador Perez (48 in 2021).
