Regular daytime passes to the zoo are still free. According to the release, on regular admission nights, the Zoo will close to all visitors at 4 p.m., then reopen to ZooLights ticket holders at 5 p.m.

Ticket prices and parking for Jack-O'-Lantern Nights Admission is $10 per person and free for children under two years old. Tickets are only available to buy at the door with cash or card.

"Boo at the Zoo" beings on Sept. 30 and runs through Oct. 29 every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday night from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., according to a Louisville Zoo news release.

You can buy your tickets to the lantern festival on the Kansas City’s Zoo’s website. Ticket prices are divided into “peak” and “off-peak” times.

The Lincoln Children’s Zoo kicks off its annual Boo at the Zoo event on Saturday, Oct. 26, which officials call Lincoln’s largest trick-or-treat gathering.
