Liverpool right back Trent Alexander-Arnold will miss the second leg against Tottenham in the English League Cup semifinals on Thursday because of an injury sustained at the weekend.

Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold has been ruled out of the second leg of their League Cup semi-final tie against Tottenham Hotspur due to a thigh injury, manager Arne Slot said on Wednesday.

Arnold will miss the second leg of their Carabao Cup semifinal against Tottenham on Thursday. Alexander-Arnold went off in the 70th minute of Liverpool's Premier League clash against Bournemouth on Saturday with a thigh injury.
