Jennette McCurdy has mostly disappeared from Hollywood (at least on screen) since her child star days for reasons that are personal and, sadly, traumatic.

But McCurdy, a former child actor who played Sam Puckett on the hit Nickelodeon sitcom, “iCarly,” stuck with it. The book has been on the best-seller list over 50 times since its release in 2022.
