Local Phoenix businesses, like sports bars and breweries, are seeing huge crowds for team watch parties as the Phoenix Mercury return home for the WNBA Finals.
Alyssa Thomas received four personal fouls in Game 2, including three in the first half. Playing with Thomas in foul trouble wasn’t something the Mercury were used to in the postseason. In the four-game semifinal series against the Minnesota Lynx, Thomas had three total fouls and never had more than one foul called on her.
