As part of Minecraft's third update drop of the year Mojang is bringing back a revamped version of the littlest guy. Instead of pushing buttons the copper golem will act as a base organiser.

The Copper Golem might be familiar to longtime Minecraft fans, as it was one of the candidates in the 2021 Mob Vote. The Mob Vote helped to decide a new Mob type to be added in a future update.

New gear is great, but the jewel in this update's crown is the copper golem. This little guy was a finalist in 2021's community mob vote, but sadly lost out to the allay.

UPDATE: As expected, Minecraft is getting a raft of new features to make use of the copper resource — including the long-awaited debut of copper golems.
