On December 20, 2025, around 8:25 p.m., uniformed officers from Rampart Patrol Division responded to a radio call regarding three loose dogs that were lunging at church patrons in the area of the 800 block of Venice Boulevard. Comments of the call indicated the dogs had chased one church patron onto the roof of her vehicle.

LOS ANGELES - One of two suspects was shot by Los Angeles Police Department officers in downtown Los Angeles overnight. Around 3:30 a.m., officers spotted a car that had been reported stolen. When they pulled over the vehicle near 9th Street and Gladys Avenue, they observed two suspects inside the vehicle.

A man suspected in the theft of a firearm was hospitalized after he was shot during a confrontation Tuesday afternoon with Burbank police. Offices responded to the firearm theft just before 1:30 p.m.

On December 19, 2025, around 3:34 a.m., Central Patrol Division uniformed officers conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle code violation near the intersection of Gladys Avenue and 8th Street. The officers approached the vehicle and contacted the driver and the front passenger.

LOS ANGELES - A shooting is under investigation in Hollywood. The Los Angeles Police Department responded to a call along North Bronson Avenue in Los Angeles on Thursday, December 18.

Police say that three suspects attempted to rob a man, who opened fire and fatally struck one of the suspects at around 3:15 p.m. near S. La Brea Avenue.
