The No. 4 Seminoles (15-1) are coming off a 7-2 defeat to rival No. 7 Florida on Tuesday. The Eagles (7-6) enter flying high, having beaten Merrimack College of Massachusetts 10-5 to follow an upset series win over No. 20 Virginia last weekend.

The Boston College Eagles (7-6, 2-1 ACC) baseball team is looking to continue its hot start to conference play as it travels to Tallahassee, Fla., for a three-game set against the No. 5 Florida State Seminoles (15-1) this weekend.

Many college baseball fans consider the first four weekends of play to be the ramp-up part of the season, and Florida is now officially diving into the deep end this week with Florida State and Tennessee on deck.
