The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is back this year and promises to be bigger than ever. Here's a preview of what to expect and how to watch.

Pembroke’s Christmas Parade will begin at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 5, beginning at the State Employees’ Credit Union and ending at the Milton R. Hunt Memorial Park. A tree-lighting ceremony will take place after the parade at 6 p.m. Applications to participate can be obtained at the town hall or by calling Amira Hunt at 910-521-9755.

The City of Temple will host its annual Christmas Parade on Dec. 1, featuring floats, community groups and a visit from Santa!

ABC11's live coverage of the parade starts at 9:00 a.m. The parade is about a mile and a half. The parade is usually about two hours long. Road closures will be on Hillsborough Street from West Morgan Street to Saint Mary's Street and Saint Mary's from College Place to W. Morgan Street from 6 a.m. until 2 p.m.
