California LLCs file a report called a Statement of Information every two years in addition to an annual tax return. If you are incorporated during an even year, you will file every even year.

The California LLC fees are $70 to file Articles of Organization and $20 to file a Statement of Information, form LLC-12. Both are submitted to the California Secretary of State’s office.

This is a variation of the statements required by Corporations Code Sections 17707.08 (b) (2) (C) pertaining to California LLCs and 17708.06 (a) (3) pertaining to foreign LLCs.
