Jarren Duran singled home the winning run to cap a three-run rally in the 10th inning, and the Red Sox finished a four-game sweep of the rival Yankees with a 5-4 victory Sunday night.

The Red Sox dropped 2 of 3 to the Baltimore Orioles earlier in the week. The latest was an 8-2 loss Thursday as the game was technically over after falling behind 6-0 in the first. 1B Willson Contreras hit his 12th homer of the season and drove in both runs.

After losing two out of three games to the Colorado Rockies earlier this week, the Boston Red Sox returned home to host the New York Yankees. Both losses to the Rockies were late in the game. Talk about hitting rock bottom in 2026.

Caleb Durbin broke a tie with a two-run homer in the fifth inning and the Boston Red Sox beat the New York Yankees 6-3 on Thursday night.
