Former Memphis Grizzlies star Tony Allen, who won the 2008 NBA Finals with the Boston Celtics, was arrested by police in Arkansas on Wednesday on two charges of drug possession.

In 1984, the now-65-year-old killed a man and dumped his body off Interstate 93. In 1993, he killed his boss at the Boston Housing Authority Pest Control Unit, according to prosecutors.

The man, who has been linked to James “Whitey” Bulger, pleaded guilty to manslaughter after the initial murder charges were reduced. The post South Boston man linked to Bulger sentenced to 15 years for involvement in 1984,

A Massachusetts man pleaded guilty today to manslaughter in connection with a 1984 homicide that remained unsolved for nearly four decades. Michael Lewis, 65, of South Boston, Massachusetts, entered the plea in Suffolk Superior Court in Boston to two counts of manslaughter related to homicides that occurred in 1984 and 1993.
