Tropical Storm Dexter, the fourth named storm of the 2025 hurricane season, was a bit weaker Tuesday morning as forecasters continue to track it and two other disturbances in the Atlantic Ocean, according to the National Hurricane Center. None of the systems pose an immediate threat to Louisiana.

Dexter, which formed into a tropical storm over the weekend, is weakening but could re-intensify later in the week, forecasters said.

Tropical Storm Dexter formed late Sunday near Bermuda, and forecasters with the National Hurricane Center are watching two other areas for potential tropical development.
