RALEIGH, N.C. - Eric Tulsky, General Manager of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team has agreed to terms with forward Logan Stankoven on an eight-year, $48 million contract extension, which will begin with the 2026-27 season.

Former Dallas Stars forward Logan Stankoven agreed to terms Tuesday on an eight-year extension with the Carolina Hurricanes, the team announced. Stankoven’s new contract will be worth $6 million annually, and will begin with the 2026-27 campaign. He was acquired from Dallas at the trade deadline as part of the return for Mikko Rantanen.
