The brother of a South Carolina petting zoo owner was apparently beaten to death by a kangaroo after possibly going into the Aussie animal’s pen to “roughhouse” with it, authorities said.

News13 Exclusive: Loris farm owner says kangaroo, ... Eric, 52, died sometime between 8:15 p.m. and 11 p.m. Saturday in an enclosure occupied by Jack, a 4-year-old red kangaroo.

A 52-year-old man was found dead inside a kangaroo and wallaby enclosure in Loris late Friday. Horry County officers believe it to be an animal-related death.
