Investigators have released details about what led up to a double deadly shooting that resulted in an officer firing shots in Denver last week.

Officials didn't immediately say who was at fault, who ended up in the hospital, or the extent of anyone's injuries, but asked people to expect delays and avoid the area of that crash.

Police are investigating a shooting in central Denver on Monday afternoon. Police said one victim was located in the shooting, which happened in the 1100 block of East Colfax Avenue. That's just east of Downing Street.
