The Cincinnati Bengals have announced a new starter at quarterback for Week 6 of the NFL season, with the Joe Flacco era in Cincy set to begin. As per Albert Breer, Bengals head coach Zac Taylor has named Flacco as the starting QB for Sunday’s contest against the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field.

The only people happy with the Cincinnati Bengals ' performance in Week 5 were Ja'Marr Chase fantasy owners, as he scored two touchdowns in what was effectively garbage time. Other than that, it's rough times in Cincinnati as the team fell to 2-3 after a 2-0 start following their loss to the Detroit Lions.

Meanwhile, second-year defensive tackle McKinnley Jackson is active for the first time this season. He had 15 tackles (two for loss) and one sack as a rookie in 2024. The Bengals took Jackson in the third round (96th overall) in the 2024 NFL Draft.
