Gov. Josh Shapiro sued President Donald Trump’s administration Monday, joining a lawsuit filed by 23 other states and the District of Columbia challenging the the decision to withhold more than $6 billion in education funding.

Nearly two dozen state AGs and blue state governors sue Trump administration for withholding more than $6 billion in federal funds for several education programs.

The U.S. Department of Education froze the funding without warning June 30, a day before it's typically sent to Pennsylvania and other states.
