There was an obvious need to cross the river Stour to allow access to the sea, and Ramsgate the rest of Thanet, the C14th bridge was the obvious solution. Rebuilt over the years, but it still remains…Full review by Cherriesfan99

The bridge is still in use today and is the access from the Canterbury side of Kent. No need to pay a toll these days but there is an interesting plaque showing what the tolls used to be.Full review by Adventurers049
