It is a free park, no parking fees. I did not see any signs that metal detecting was not allowed

I am so sorry no I cannot answer that. Contact Pasco County Parks and Recreation I imagine they can answer!

A:
Not really. There are protected swim areas, but the park gets closed a few times a year due to contaminated water. There is a water treatment plant adjacent.

Are dogs allowed?
A:
Unfortunately no. There is a nice dog beach in Pinellas at Honeymoon Island.
