What a superb piece of engineering. Free to enter, with an informative history of how and why the Falkirk Wheel was built. Nice restaurant and gift shop. Absolutely must visit if you're in the area. …Full review by Christopher T
Inside the main building, shop, cafe we were not allowed to take the dog, but surrounding areas and onto the boat ride on the wheel we were allowed to take the dog, hope that helps

Hi, Try phoning Eddie on 07828 008997 is what the Falkirk Wheel Activities provider website says. The company providing kayak hire there is outdoortrax. I can't provide a website in this reply - it's banned. Paddleboarding is available some miles along the canal at Auchinstarry marina - same company. You'd need to ask if you can paddleboard at the Falkirk wheel. Or try booking online? Hope this helps Derek Phone Jos on 07914 668967
